Here we go again....already.
Outside my window....cloudy....with a chance of meatballs
I am thinking....that I'm ready for this weekend...and it's only Monday.
I am thankful....for a massive washing machine that does hours and hours of hard work. So grateful that I no longer have a small washer and even more....that I am not out at a nasty, funky river with a washboard and a clothesline.
From the kitchen....homemade whole wheat macaroni and cheese for lunch and homemade pizza for dinner
I am wearing.....ugh. This question just gets me cause the answers are always just so unappealing, unsexy and just plain boring. Soooo.....jeans....a hard earned size 8 (I've got to liven this up somehow), a black Texas deer t-shirt and socks...no shoes. I don't really believe in shoes. They're about like panty hose...you don't put them on unless you plan on going somewhere. But even then...I don't wear panty hose...but I do wear shoes.
I am going.....to bring back structure to our home and utilize Managers of their Homes and Managers of their Chores which I was given for my birthday in Sept but was too overwhelmed with life to ever implement.
I am reading.....the compost book....still. It's slow going. And the biography of William and Catherine Boothe...founders of the Salvation Army.
I am hoping.....to have a very sheduled schedule by the end of this week.
I am hearing......Little Big Town's "Bring it on Home to Me" along with a bunch of laughing little boys who are supposed to be napping.
Around the house.....a pair of muddy boots, a jump rope, an unfinished board game, strewn out schoolwork, tons of little die cast cars and planes, a ton of beds waiting for the return of their sheets, a humming washing machine and the smell of Charlie's Soap cleaner.
One of my favorite things....an empty laundry room.
A few plans for the rest of the week.....to survive it.
