It seems like they should still be 2. Brad and I were talking yesterday and somehow it just seems like they will forever be 2. They are definitely 4 now in every way but something about them...their pregnancy and birth remain so vivid and they remain so little to me. Having the 2 of them is still one of the most amazing things in life to me. It surpasses almost all this life has had to offer. They never cease to amaze me and the miracle and blessing of the 2 of them is still so new to me each and everyday.
Happy Birth Day Boys!
We all had a good laugh this past week when we overheard the 2 of them fighting over whose birthday it is. We have never made a big deal over their twinship and never really brought it up. So, I figured it was time they learned just why they shared their birthday so we spent the rest of the week discussing how special God made them and how God put 2 babies in my tummy when they were in there. Although Grant did get a little perturbed when he learned that Garrison came out first. Today I asked Grant, "Who's your twin?" He jumped up and down and said "Garrison!" I turned to Garrison and asked him, "Who's your twin?" He threw his arms around Grant and squeezed him in a 4 year old rough and tumble bearhug. As they fell to the floor he said over their fits of laughter, "Grant!" Pretty sweet.
We are so blessed.
