The Love Project
Thank you again so much to those of you that have already donated to the Love Project fund and have truly seen and participated in what we feel called to accomplish. Our current landlord was given our 30 day notice today. To put it mildly, he is very, very angry and bewildered at our decision to leave. So far, he has not seen our hearts at all and has not seen anything we attempted to exhibit through our love project and all that we have done here. If you have ever been moved by our story or felt any urge to help love him I ask that you consider doing so now. It is imperative that we leave this house with floors in it, as he is angriest concerning this issue and assuming we will leave the house without flooring. We are well prepared should he take us to court. But it is our heart to walk away from this house with it in perfect condition and rent ready for a new tenant. We need and would love to see all of you that have read faithfully, followed us on this journey, whether out of sheer curiosity or a sincere love for our family, to come together to make this happen. It is our hearts to plant a seed of hope in this man and leave him, his family, and his property better than we found it. Please prayerfully consider what part you might be able to play in this last phase of our walk here. We have 30 days left to make this happen. If you have any questions or would like to discuss this further please PM me using the blog's facebook page and refrain from leaving controversial comments, as this is not meant to be a controversial post, rehash what we have endured here, or a decision that is up for debate. We truly have a heart for this man and his family and we long to see the vast world of blog readers come together to love on him and make a positive difference within his life and that of his family's. I know it is the holiday season and funds can be tight as you struggle to balance gift giving with every day needs and extra expenses such as food and travel that the holidays typically incur. But please remember that our personal family story is living testimony that God truly does give back abundantly and He blesses those that give. And it just feels good to give.
